Why Invest.
Family is a beautiful blessing and gift. Documenting each stage in your sweet family is an investment you will not regret. Babies grow into toddlers. Children become young adults. And before you know it, the nest is empty. As a mother and parent myself, I witness the long days turn into short years of my kids childhood. The seasons change and your son is suddenly taller than you! Photography is the gift that continues to give even years after you scheduled that summer session and cry over how beautiful your gallery is. Let’s capture the love and laughter of your family, big or small!
How It Works
Fill out the contact form on my website. Include what you are looking for in your family session such as location, outside or studio, and time of day. If you are unsure, I can help you, so don’t stress about the details.
I will email back to you at my earliest convivence. I send you my welcome package that gives you lots of information about packages, styling, and locations. It will also educate you on time of day and how that can affect your photos.
When you decide to book with me, you will pay a 50% retainer fee and sign a contract to secure your date. If your session is within a week or two, generally families pay the full amount as it is just easier with life, however it is not required.
From there we nail down a date, time of day and location. We will look at what is best for you family. I answer any questions about styling your outfits for the family or anything else that you want advice and help with.
The day of your session arrives, and I am just as excited as you! I know it can be stressful getting the whole family and kids looking their best. I’ve been there. I am a mama of three sons and have a background in education, so rest assured I can handle lots of kids, chaos and unwillingness in front of the camera. Don’t stress, you get everyone there and I will take over. I come with prompts, playful games and even puppets for the littles who need that extra make-believe and silliness. WE will have fun and laugh together. I cannot wait to see you all there!
Gallery delivery day is next! You will see your gallery arrive in your email anywhere between one and three weeks of your session date. It really just depends upon how many sessions are happening on my end, and the season we are in. I promise to keep open lines of communication with you and your family.

I get it, the time, the investment can seem like a lot. The first step is easy, fill out the contact form and we can go from there. You do not have to have all the details figured out, I promise! And here is what I know, you will not regret putting your hard-earned money and time invested into this family session. Truly, I use to believe the same thing before I became a photographer. Is it really worth my money and time? I mean its just photos, right? It’s not really a tangible item of value I can use every day right? Wrong, I promise. I still have photos from my wedding handing in my office. It brings me so much joy and fills my heart with love and my mind with memories of my committed and covenant love to my husband. My boys even look at it and love seeing us in our white and black looking like little kids!
I am so glad I invested in photography because it is truly a gift that NEVER fades. Toys, gadgets, technology, and clothes fade, but photos never do. They live on in print, gallery walls, albums, and digital for years and years to come. More importantly they live on in our hearts and minds of a time that is paused and preserved, what a forever gift. Your grandkids will get to look at your family gallery walls and albums someday and see how they look like you! What a blessing of family legacy.
